The Right to an Education
For this activity, we would like you like you to write a short story. The story can be about anything that you wish but to receive full points it must be at least 10 sentences long!
I wrote this about a photo. Can you guess what's happening in the photo?
My heart racing as fast as possible my eyes drizzling with tears. The beast stares right into my eyes looking deep into my soul. I look left then right seeing if anyone is around too help me I scream help as loud as possible. I feel like my guts will pour out right now! The yellow, brown and black coloured animal. I can hear the beasts breathing as I slowly take one step back at time. The brown dried up leaves crackling every time I take a step. My mind still scrambled with a dozen of thoughts. Oh my gosh the brown eyes! Not a leopard but maybe just his uncle.
if you would like to know what the photo was then visit this website and it is the first photo you see there.

WOMEN’S RIGHTS
For this activity, let’s imagine that the government decides to create a new $10 bank note and replace Kate with a picture of a different New Zealand woman. On your blog, tell us who you think the government should put on the new $10 note. Please provide us with a picture of this amazing woman and a short explanation of why you have selected her as Kate Sheppard’s replacement.
I believe that if Kate Sheppard’s photo is on New Zealand's $10 note It is there for a reason but if I had to pick a replacement then it would be Jacinda Ardern because she is a woman and also the prime minister of New Zealand.

I Have A Dream
For this activity, please consider the problem that black men and women faced in America at this time. On your blog, describe the problem. What did Rosa Parks do about the problem? How did other people react?
In the 1950s and 1960s people with different coloured skin were not allowed to use the same toilet go to the same school or even sit next to each other on a bus. Thank god Lucky Martin Luther King Jr and Rosa Parks were brave enough to fight against that thought. I think treating other people differently just because of there skin tone is quite stupid. I’m so glad there were people like Rosa Parks in the world.
I go to a school where kids have lighter skin then me and I don’t think that they care that I have a different skin. Although my friends have a lighter tone skin then me we don’t care.

Dear Jacinda
For this activity, please write a letter that includes the issue you have chosen, why you have chosen it, and what you would like our Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, to do about it. It is your job to persuade us (and her!) that it’s an important issue.
Dear Prime minister Jacinda Ardern
I vigorously believe that sign language should also be apart of school. In this writing I will explain how important sign language is.
English, Maori and sign languages are the three official languages of New Zealand. Schools are already teaching English and a bit Maori but my question is why not sign language as well? I agree with Jess that one of the reasons might be that teachers might not know sign language.
I think that school might even need a teacher for that of if not then someone that can teach kids that. If was aloud then I would like to take the time to learn then teach sign language. If you get to a stage where you have to do work or something with a deaf and mute person then being able to communicate will them will come in hand.
Did you know that there are 466 million people with hearing loss in the world.
Thank you for reading my letter
Sincerely
Priyansha

For this activity, we would like you to imagine that you had the chance to interview LeBron James, Steven Adams or another basketball player of your choice.
My questions too Lebron James I picked Lebron James because I don’t really know much about basketball and I have heard a lot of people talking about Lebron James and I know a little bit about him myself.
My questions are
How did you find out basketball was what you wanted to do?
At what age did you start playing basketball?
Did your family support you playing basketball ?
What is the biggest achievement and your biggest goal of yours?
Why Basketball?

For this activity, we would like to hear about a time when you, or someone you know, was brave like Sully.
When I was six or seven I went on my first whole school camp and at the camp at Bridge Valley we had to do some kayaking there. When it was time to go Kayaking we all told if you feel uncomfortable tell an adult and they can go with you. I just had too have bad luck that day and everyone I asked was taken so I had to go all by myself and I felt like bawling my eyes out. But I didn't I got in that kayak and did it I did get stuck once or maybe twice but I did It.

One Small Step for a man
Poem about my first step on the moon If I was Neil Armstrong.
I don't know whats happening in brain,
Although there is a party going through my veins,
I look at myself head to toe,
Then just look at that moon glow,
My heart pounding with joy, I got this photo and what Neil Armstrong said from
And I just say to myself oh boy, https://www.azquotes.com/quote/10822
As I put my boot on the chalky ground,
I yell ‘That's one small step for man and a huge leap for mankind.’

Air rescue
I picked air rescue because I personally think that air rescue is a very big job although the other three options are very hard too I think air rescue is a little bit harder in my opinion.
Did you know that there have been 14000 rescue missions. West PAC air rescue is a charity because the helicopters and other things they need to buy they use all the donated money.
I got this photo from https://www.lifeflight.org.nz
