Activity 1: Sea
10 things I would take with me to the sea
I would take bread and rice because I think it would last me a long time. For carrots, lettuce, tomatoes and lemons l think they would come in hand with the bread or just a salad. Fruits it think will give me lots of protein and energy. I picked milk because need it for the weetbix and the potatoes are on my list just because I like potatoes.
Kia Ora Priya I don't think taking milk would be a good idea because how would you keep it cold and you might want to say what fruit I still love your list

Hi Priya,I like your list and how you new exactly why you wanted them. I do agree with Rylee the milk wouldn't stay cold but it could last the first few days. I like the photos but you should probably write where you got the photo from. I would take potatoes because they are nice as well. Next time you could maybe ask a question at the end.
ReplyDeletecome look at my blog
Keep it up

Kia ora Priya,
ReplyDeleteIt’s Leisha again. It is so great to see you have made a start on the week one activities.
You have created a nice list of food items you would take and thank you for providing an explanation about why you chose these items. I agree with the other girls who have commented about the milk and I am interested to know if you had thought of a way to keep the milk cold while on board? I wonder if the milk would last three weeks too. Perhaps milk powder could be a better option? However, you would also need to include bottled water to mix the milk powder with. Rice and potatoes are also good options that would provide you with carbohydrates for energy while onboard, and I am interested to know how you would cook these. Can you think of a way that you would cook these on board your boat?
Fantastic start to week one Priya! Keep it up!
Leisha :)
DeleteHello Leisha Its Priya
I do agree that taking milk powder might be a better option and for the water I kinda just thought that because I have too list Foods I thought that I would already be taking water I understand where that question came from and maybe should have explained how I will be taking milk along with me. How I would cook it on the boat most boats have a small kitchen and hopefully I get the boat with a kitchen.
Thank you
Priya
Mōrena Priya,
ReplyDeleteThat is good thinking. I know a lot of big boats have small kitchens. Have you ever been on a boat Priya? My stepdad has quite a bit boat but it doesn't have a kitchen. We do fishing a lot during the summer. I enjoy it, as long as it is a nice day and smooth water. I get a little sea sick if it is too rocky.
Are you enjoying the Summer Learning Journey activities so far?
